SCHOLARSHIP

In 2025, we are proud to offer three $1,000 scholarships to individuals connected to the grocery business in the Greater Memphis Area. These scholarships are designed to recognize and support those who see grocery stores as essential centers of the community and who aspire to contribute to their growth and impact.

This opportunity is open to individuals with a passion for community building and a connection to the grocery industry. Whether you work in a store, have family ties to the industry, or simply believe in the power of grocery stores to strengthen neighborhoods, we encourage you to apply.

APPLICATION AND ELIGIBILITY

Requirements:

  • Open to High School Seniors (rising college Freshmen) attending a U.S. College or University

  • Minimum High School GPA of 3.0

  • Must include a 500 word essay on "The Grocery Store is often a hub of community life." Describe an experience where you connected and served your community. What did you learn about the importance of teamwork and service?
